Poetry in motion

or how I copy drawings
30/11/2015
My use of paint that would otherwise go to waste didn't mean I used much less primer but I'll go on working on it. I've now reached the next stage of my painting of Keira and Ursula. I've written over the canvas (the first few lines of Jubilate Agno by Christopher Smart if you want to know) and photographed it. I've then superimposed my drawing on the photo to produce this image. Tomorrow I'll use it to copy the drawing onto the canvas. (The pre-computer way was to draw a grid over the drawing and a larger one on the canvas - probably more accurate but not as much fun!)
